We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a small, supportive finance team within a well-established resource company based in the Perth CBD. In this part-time role, you will provide essential support to two experienced accountants, assisting with a variety of transactional and administrative tasks. Our client is flexible and open to discussion on the days and hours worked—perfect for someone seeking work-life balance in a professional environment. This role is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger entries
  • Support month-end and year-end financial procedures
  • Maintain accurate financial records and data entry
  • Prepare and send invoices and remittance advice
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
About You:
  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero)
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
