We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a small, supportive finance team within a well-established resource company based in the Perth CBD. In this part-time role, you will provide essential support to two experienced accountants, assisting with a variety of transactional and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger entries
- Support month-end and year-end financial procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and data entry
- Prepare and send invoices and remittance advice
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Xero)
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude
